The new press unit, which had been prepositioned in the yard, was moved to the production area using our Ormig crane, and then hoisted into the location where the removed unit had stood. Low headroom and the environment built-in with production process technology made work more difficult, nevertheless our compact, zero-emission hall crane provided a solution for completing this complex task.
Replacement of press units
We replaced a 10 tonne press unit from the production process area in a specialised food-industry environment using our Ormig 55/60 iE electric pick & carry crane with non-marking wheels. The old press unit was dismantled, removed from the process area, moved out of the hall using our pick & carry crane machine, and deposited in the factory yard.
