RELOCATION OF MACHINERY, FACTORY UNITS AND PLANTS
Complete factory and industrial relocations involve the dismantling and reassembly of machinery, service units and testing rooms. Relocations include the dismantling, disassembly, transport and reassembly of machinery. We offer this to our customers as a complete service package.
On the basis of the machine manual provided by the customer, or with the assistance of the manufacturer’s supervisor, our employees will propose the best solution for dismantling the machine and relocating it to a new site. Our project managers will perform pre-level measurements on site, measure the current position of the machine, and check the distance between the machines. Then they will dismantle the machine’s electrical pneumatic, hydraulic units, and grease lines, drain all oil and grease from the machine, pack it, place it on a transport vehicle, and move it to its new site for reinstallation.
We can satisfy our customers needs by organising and carrying out complete factory relocation projects using our more than 200-strong fleet of machines.
Safety is extremely important to us
At Megakran we pay special attention to occupational health and safety. Our quality management and safety systems are audited annually by Apave Belgium SA (VCA) and QSCert, spol s.r.o (ISO).
In addition, for our customers’ maximum safety and protection, our machine installation activities are covered by a HUF 700 million liability insurance policy, which can be extended on a project-by-project basis at the customer’s request for new machines or production lines.

Assembly line relocation
We moved an assembly line from one of our customer’s production halls to another. As a prerequisite for the installation, we determined the air and electrical energy requirements for the installation, as well as the electrical cable and air duct cross-sections, based on the layout and machine parameters previously received from the customer. During the project, we installed two rasters, covering an area of 600-700m2, which took 10 days.

One of our regular customers asked us to completely relocate special purpose machines, machining centres, and cantilever slewing cranes in their production hall. This included dismantling the previous supply systems (electrical, air and water), installing new ones and the connecting the relocated machines to the supplies. Dismantling, transport and relocation of 126 machines to a new site, as well as positioning and levelling them in their designated location, as specified by the customer.
We were contracted to move and transport 126 machine units out of a hall, relocate them into a hall at the customer’s new site, then to level and position them in place. The timing of the relocation was coordinated with the customer, as the customer’s former leased premises continued production throughout the relocation.
