The upper tank was hoisted with our JMG unit and then returned to its original position after maintenance. A lifting plan was also provided for our special machine handling service.
Steam tank lifted in a polystyrene plant using our 9 tonne JMG pick & carry crane
Hoisting was performed for steam tank maintenance in an extremely narrow working area, using our 9 tonne JMG pick & carry crane. The fact that process pipelines significantly restricted the machine’s travel route made completing the hoisting task difficult (the height of the passage was hardly 2 metres). A special compact electric-powered pick & carry crane, only 1.5 metres wide and 1.9 metres high when lowered, was needed to complete this task.
