We moved the old robots and the welding machine to the customer’s yard with a forklift, and then we lifted the new robots into place with our Hüffermann. Process disconnections and re connections were performed by the customer’s staff. We completed this job in three days.
Lifting robots and a stud welding machines
During the project, we lifted 12 Fanuc and Kuka robots and one stud welding machine with our unique Hüffermann electric mini crane, which is ideal for moving machines in spaces with low ceilings thanks to its articulated boom. Our customer’s requirements could not be met with any other truck crane or lifting equipment as the robots were widely spaced on the production line and the headroom for lifting was limited.
