It was for exactly this type of specialised work that we purchased our Pick & Carry cranes, which, thanks to their compact size, are perfect for lifting and moving loads in confined spaces without having to jack the crane. Our installation team placed the container at the entrance to the hall and began to unload the 22 tonne main body and auxiliary equipment of the injection moulding machine from the container. Then we moved the machine and its assemblies to the installation location and together with the manufacturer’s service team, started to put the machine together.
Installing an injection moulding machine
Our first task was to unload the injection moulding machine, which had arrived from China in a container, from the transport vehicle, using our 60-tonne Ormig 55/60 iE electric mobile crane. Due to the lack of space and the fragility of the objects located in the area of passage, it was not possible to lift and handle the container in the customer’s yard using a conventional truck crane.
